Based in Mainz, we specialize in creating bespoke wine-focused events for English- and German speaking corporate groups. The picturesque wine region surrounding Frankfurt, Mainz, and Wiesbaden provides the perfect backdrop for engaging and refreshing outings, offering a welcome escape from traditional meeting environments.
Many of our events are designed as half-day experiences, particularly for groups meeting in Frankfurt. With travel times of 50-60 minutes to nearby wineries, vineyards, or historic sites like castles and monasteries, we recommend allocating a minimum of 5-6 hours for your outing.
While the region offers abundant options for team entertainment, we understand that language, time constraints, group size, and specific activity requirements present unique challenges. Each event we create is tailored to meet the individual needs of your team.

If you’re seeking to organize a memorable and impactful event for your team or clients, the following case studies offer a glimpse into our recent projects. To illustrate the diverse possibilities, here are a few examples of recent events we’ve organized:
Immersive History and Wine: A Monastery Experience
For 130 executives from a global financial firm, we crafted an exclusive walking wine tasting at a historic monastery. Departing from Frankfurt in comfortable coaches with English-speaking guides, the group was divided into smaller tours of 30. They explored the monastery’s rooms and cellars, stopping at five tasting stations where they learned about monastic traditions, medieval life, and the region’s rich history. The event culminated in the beautiful courtyard, where everyone enjoyed wine and freshly baked pretzels before heading back to Frankfurt.
VIP Wine & Dine: From Vineyard to Michelin Star
We curated an exclusive experience for 12 VIP stakeholders from an investment fund, featuring a private wine tasting and a Michelin-starred dinner. Luxury vans transported the group from Frankfurt’s 5 Star Hotel Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof to a renowned Rheingau winery, known for its award-winning wines and innovative approach. A cellar and vineyard tour led to an in-depth tasting and engaging discussion about wine production and entrepreneurship. The evening concluded with a six-course, wine-paired dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant in a charming historic village.
Relaxing Vineyard Escape: Barbecue, Hike, and Tasting
We organized a rejuvenating summer outing for 40 employees of a leading international bank. A luxury coach transported the group from Frankfurt to a former convent, where they enjoyed an outdoor barbecue lunch in the lush gardens. The afternoon continued with a leisurely 60-minute hike through the vineyards, culminating at a scenic winery. The winemaker himself led a tasting and cellar tour, with guests enjoying panoramic views from the terrace.
Rhein River Networking: A Scenic Wine Cruise
We fulfilled the request for an exclusive wine tasting and dinner on the Rhein River for a new association’s networking event. Instead of a traditional venue pickup, guests boarded a yacht-style cruise ship at the Mainz river promenade. The 30 participants enjoyed a relaxed cruise with ample deck space and a finger food buffet. As the ship sailed, offering stunning views of the Rheingau and Rheinhessen vineyards, we timed the wine tastings to complement the passing scenery.
Exclusive Castle Celebration: Wine & Music on the Rhein
At the request of a major champagne producer, we orchestrated an exclusive evening for 40 of their key grape suppliers at a beautifully preserved Rhein River castle. The evening featured a private wine tasting and dinner, with the entire castle reserved for the group. Guests enjoyed exploring the historic rooms while savoring Mittel Rhein Riesling. A highlight of the evening was a medieval music concert in the torch-lit courtyard, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Casual end-of-workshop wine tasting and finger food
A multi-day sales workshop of an international pharmaceutical company was to end on a high note, and BottleStops was commissioned to arrange for an evening social event including a fun, lighthearted wine tasting and a light dinner. BottleStops hosted the group in its underground wine cellar. The tasting room, located on the -4 level of a cellar complex dating from the mid of the 19th century never fails to impress. The expertly rennovated structure features both historic and modern elements – in this exclusive surrounding, along a long, high table the group could mingle, enjoy the wines and freshly prepared finger food and celebrate the end of an intense set of working days.
In essence, our case studies demonstrate our commitment to crafting unique and memorable corporate experiences within the picturesque Rhein River area. From immersive historical wine tastings in ancient monasteries to exclusive Michelin-starred dining experiences in charming villages, and from relaxing vineyard escapes to sophisticated castle celebrations, we tailor each event to meet the specific needs and aspirations of our clients. We understand the challenges of organizing corporate events, and we leverage our expertise and local knowledge to deliver seamless, engaging, and impactful experiences. Whether you’re seeking a refreshing break from traditional meetings or a sophisticated networking event, we’re dedicated to creating exceptional moments that leave a lasting impression. Let us help you transform your next corporate event into an unforgettable experience.
